BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) - Kyle Larson led 462 laps under the lights on Saturday night to cruise to victory in the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The driver of the Hendrick Motorsports No. 5 Chevy passed Jeff Gordon for most laps led in a single race in the company's history.
Chase Elliott, Bubba Wallace, Denny Hamlin, and Christopher Bell rounded out the Top 5.
With the result, Hamlin was able to move above the cut line and qualify for the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs Round of 12.
Ty Gibbs, Martin Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski, and Harrison Burton were the four playoff drivers eliminated from competition on Saturday night. Despite finishing 31st, Daniel Suarez was the final driver to secure a spot in the Round of 12.
The Cup Series Playoffs continue at Kansas Speedway on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 3 p.m. ET.
